We found Paignton Court quite by chance a few years ago now and have been back every year since. Hayley and Paul are fantastic hosts. The hotel itself is a lovely home from home, tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. The breakfasts are to die for. Lovely times spent in the bar on an evening. Would highly recommend.

Paul & Hayley are very warm & welcoming. The hotel is spotlessly clean & the food is lovely. Our room was perfect. Very close to the beach & shops. Just returned from another brilliant holiday at the Paignton Court hotel.As in previous visits everything was perfect for our holidays. Hosts were first class nothing was too much trouble.Rooms were spotless, stocked with everything needed.The food is first class, lots of choices and served piping hot and tasty.Most guests are returning customers so proves what a great place to stay the Paignton Court is already booked two holidays there next year.

No complaints about our two-night stay at Paignton Court. A friendly welcome on arrival. The room was small but we knew that from the description and it was perfectly fine for what we needed. Clean, well-maintained and a comfortable bed. Breakfast was very good. There was also a communal sitting area in a conservatory.

We were really impressed with our 3 night stay at the hotel and our room (no10) was immaculate, the full English breakfast was delicious, just a 2 minute walk from the sea front and town,the hotel also has great parking.The owners Paul and Hayley are the perfect hosts.

The hotel was located near(5 min walk) from the train station. Yet still quiet enough so that I could sleep.The room was well equipped and having the water cooler outside my room was handy as the weather was warm and it helped me to remember to hydrate.Breakfast was well organised with allotted times that allowed the food to be prepared quickly, which meant I could get out and explore nice and early.

Have stayed in a few places around Paignton and this establishment is the best i have ever been too. Even outshines the Palace Hotel. You get a warm friendly greeting from the hosts, rooms are clean, tidy & well decorated with all facilities required. Breakfast is superb & you can get evening meals if required. Have been to this hotel twice now & will return if i survive this winter lol It is a home from home, brilliant.

Can’t praise the owners enough. Paul and Hayley work their socks off to make sure that all their guests are well looked after. Nothing is to much trouble. The fact that there is great off road parking, a bar downstairs with an array of drinks to choose from and where guests can meet up and share their stories of what everyone had done on the day. It all makes for a good atmosphere. There is also a menu which has a great choice of freshly cooked meals. The accommodation is absolutely spotless. The rooms are immaculate and are well stocked with tea and coffee. All in all this is the place to be if you want to stay in Paignton.

This hotel is amazing. It was our first visit there and Paul and Hayley made us feel so welcome. Nothing was too much trouble. Paul and Hayley know every guests names and treated everyone as friends. I can see why people return every year. The room was lovely and spacious and spotlessly clean. Everything you need is in the room and an iron and ironing board are also available. Food can be ordered in the bar between 6 and 7.30 each evening and was very nice. Breakfast was lovely and set you up for the day. Although this hotel is not on the front it is only a few minutes walk to the front and the harbour. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel and we will be going back next year. Thank you Paul and Hayley for a lovely stay.

We've just returned from our 1st stay at the Paignton Court, Hayley and Paul are the perfect hosts, our room was spotlessly clean and well appointed with a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was very nice, good selection of cereals, fruit and full English, or omelettes etc and served very promptly. There is plenty of car parking available, and we didn't use the car all week, just used the local bus services or the train. The hotel is ideally situated and is a 5 minute walk to the bus and railway stations,local shops and the seafront and harbour area. We'd have no hesitation in recommending the Paignton Court and we're hoping to be able to visit again next year, thank you Hayley and Paul for a lovely stay.

This was our first stay at Paignton Court and we were very impressed, Hayley and Paul were very welcoming and helpful. We particularly liked the little touches not usually found at a B&B, a tea towel for drying the mugs, enough milk for the day and plenty of storage space and hangers. The breakfast was very good with plenty of choice and the location was ideal.

We stayed for 2 nights for an event commencing from the railway station.We were warmly welcomed from the minute we pulled up in our car and parked in the in the hotel car park which was so easy, the hotel being conveniently situated for the railway station. The beds were comfortable and we were well supplied with everything we needed. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice. We were struck with the high level of general cleanliness and maintenance in the hotel and will certainly use it again when we return to Paignton.

We've stayed at Paignton Court several times now and each time we are made to feel right at home. The room (number 1) is ideal for us with it being on the ground floor and is huge in size. The breakfasts are as big as you want; the choices are very flexible. Hayley and Paul, the hosts, can't do enough for you. 5 star service all round!

We stayed for a long weekend in order to watch the Torbay Airshow. We were welcomed warmly at the door and treated as friends all weekend. The whole place was clean, tidy and well maintained. Breakfast was delicious and Paul and Hayley were happy to accommodate our allergy/intolerances with substitutions. As it was a busy weekend in Paignton it was good to be able to have a meal and drink in the licensed bar in the evening without having to go to a crowded pub/restaurant. Paignton Court is conveniently located near the beach and town centre so we didn’t need to use the car all weekend.We would happily recommend a stay at Paignton Court to anyone wishing to stay in Paignton.

You get a vast choice for your breakfast and you can get a selection of meals in the bar in the evening. Lovely find, great position for the town, train and bus stations. Bedroom has everything you need, really quiet, comfortable, and very clean. One of us is gluten and dairy free, went above and beyond to cater for me.Great that they do evening meals, can definitely recommend the curry. This was our first visit but definitely not our last . We were looking for a short break and came across this gem. How glad we did! The hotel and the room were exactly as advertised. Our room better than expected. It had a superking bed which was comfortable. Two bedside tables, full wardrobe, dressing table with plenty of room for hot drink making facilities. Two small comfortable modern armchairs. This still left room to move around - no shoved up against a wall or squeezed in here ! The ensuite was small but again reasonable. Shower cubicle, sink and toilet. I did find the towels were larger than usual for this price range which was nice. The decor was modern. It was spotlessly clean and well maintained. The same for the whole place. The terms are B & B and the breakfast was outstanding. The choice was excellent and the portions very generous. Freshly cooked and well presented and service with a smile ! The dining room was large for the number of rooms with plenty of space between tables. It is also the lounge .There is a reasonably stocked bar which is open from 6pm. There is also a bar snack menu available which looked ok but we didn't use this. A small outside terrace area and a conservatory room both comfortably furnished were pleasant areas to sit. Again, spotlessly clean. Paul and Hayley were excellent friendly hosts . Excellent experience and outstanding value for money. I would recommend.

We had two superior rooms to celebrate our 35th Anniversary with our adult son, the accommodation was spotless and very comfortable with everything we needed, nothing was to much trouble from Hayley and Paul, Andrew has a medical condition that was accommodated very well, we very much look forward to coming again.

We really enjoyed our stay at Paignton Court. It was a very relaxing and welcoming atmosphere and everything was very clean and comfortable. I have to follow a dairy free and gluten free diet but the staff had no problem adapting the breakfast menu to suit my needs. We would definitely recommend Paignton Court to anyone.

We were warmly greeted by Paul and shown to our room, which was very clean and tidy.Breakfasts were lovely, staff were very friendly, as we're the other guests.During our stay we had trouble with our motorcycle. We booked it in to the local garage. Paul and Hayley kindly opened for breakfast earlier for us so we could get to our garage time slot on time.I can't thank them enough for there kindness.Finally we will be booking again for future visits.

My son, sister and myself stayed at Paignton Court in July 2023. We had a fantastic time. Paul and Hayley were wonderful hosts. Our rooms were spacious, well decorated and very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was superb with lots of choices. We also had an evening meal on a couple of occasions and, again, there was a good choice and the food was delicious. We had an absolutely amazing time at Paignton Court. The rooms were spacious and spotless, with great décor and crisp bed sheets. The full English breakfast was delicious, with a huge variety of options! The staff were attentive and went out of their way to ensure that we were comfortable. Beds were made up and tea and coffee replenished daily. Nothing was too much trouble. I can’t fault the place and will definitely go back.

We were met by Paul as we entered the pieasant clean bright entrance We signed in and was directed to our room. We where immediately taken a backBy the size of the room on inspection it was so clean and imaculate the furniture and fittings where of a very high quality. The breakfast and all the meals were top quality. Inthe evening we retired to the bar which was very well stocked we stayed in most evenings being looked after by Paul and Hayley we would return without question with free large car park and 5 minutes from the seafront or town

Great location close to the sea front and other local attractions. Lovely hosts. The room we had was very clean and well presented, a good quantity of tea and coffee etc. A great plus was the on-site parking, made it very convenient if you did not wish to use your car. The breakfast menus was brilliant, a range of options to choose from. Would definitely stay heard again.

This was our second stay at Paignton Court, a short 4 night break - the hotel is in a great location for all the local amenities, shops, sea front, restaurants and more. The hotel is very comfortable, clean with an excellent breakfast menu, off street parking is available and Hayley & Paul are very helpful and nothing is too much trouble. We would definitely recommend a stay here and no doubt we will return in the future.

We are recently back from a lovely 4 night stay here (26th to 30th June). We were greeted by Paul and Hayley's daughter,who kindly allowed us to check in early.Room 7 was lovely,plus it was on the ground floor which was a bonus.Breakfast was delicious every morning with a wide variety of items on offer.Paul and Hayley were brilliant hosts , the house also being immaculate throughout. Plenty of off road parking,plus very convenient for all that Paignton has to offer as well as public transport. We plan to come back next year all being well.Thank you for making us feel so welcome.

The exterior of the Hotel is welcoming even as one approaches. This is underlined by the hosts Paul & Hayley. The interior is immaculately clean and absolutely nothing phased the hosts. They were extremely helpful, particularly towards my wife who has mobility issues. We felt as though we had known them as friends for years. The breakfasts were very good and the bar snacks menu varied.I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel.

Paul, Hayley and Caroline were excellent hosts at this friendly hotel. The breakfast is really good and the rooms are very comfortable with enough storage room for several days. The car park is a great bonus although the hotel is well located for bus and train routes to other resorts. We loved it!

Once again came to stay with Paul &Hayley, our room no 2 had new furniture which was of a high standard. Super comfy bed in a lovely clean room. Arrived late so swiftly checked in by Paul and dropped bags of in room and down to the bar for a lovely drink with the fellow guests and the hosts, noticed that they had all new comfortable chairs in the bar/ dining room and around the hotel, It’s lovely to sit and chat and have a laugh whilst having a drink or two. Breakfast next morning was fantastic with a large variety of cooked and cold. We were only here for 3 nights due to work commitments, so we were sorry to leave yesterday. Roy is already counting down to his next stay in August. We enjoy it so much we now call it our HAPPY PLACE. You will not in our minds find a better hotel in Torbay. This was a real find when looking for somewhere to stay in Paignton. The room was comfortable and very clean, the breakfast was delicious with a good choice of menu. The off road car parking was a bonus and the location was central for anywhere you wanted to go in Torbay. Steam railway around the corner and impressive coastal bus service running every 10 minutes. Delightful hosts, will definitely stay again.

Fantastic stay at Paignton Court, owner couldn’t do enough for us, made to feel very welcome, breakfast was served piping hot, the only criticism is the quality of the sausage was not great. Other than that a perfect stay.

Me & a friend down for a 4 day getaway. We as a group have been travelling from Forest of Dean to Paignton for 9 years. I have now run out of superlative words to describe our stays. Paul & Haley are very professional at all times and none of our requests have so far not be included in our stay. What can I say about Paignton Court, ran by a lovely couple, Paul and Hayley both do a fantastic job of making you welcome to this clean tidy guest house. A 10/15 min walk along flat roads will take you to the beach/ town centre or bus/rail stations, ❤️

Wanted to revisit Paignton after a few years away and choose Paignton Court because it is close to the Town and Harbour, but got so much more than that. Such a wonderful place to stay with hosts Paul and Hayley more than friendly spending time with their guests in the bar every evening. Rooms tastefully decorated and very comfortable and breakfast faultless. Have booked already for a short break early 2023 with other guests we met during our stay.

We had a lovely 3 days(2nights) with a fantastic breakfast with what we call ‘proper bacon’ not wafer thin rubbish!The bar was very friendly and it was nice to meet such lovely people. This is a must to stay of ever you are in the Torbay area. Only 5 mins walk to the sea front and quaint harbour . Thank you Paul and Hayley.

My mum and dad recommanded paighton court to me for a week away with my fiancee. It was our first time at Paighton Court and we really enjoyed our stay. We recently spent a short break at the Paignton Court. It was the first time that we had visited, and we were not disappointed. Paul and Hayley are great hosts, very welcoming, making sure that everyone is involved and enjoying their stay. The outside of Paignton Court is immaculate, every bit as lovely as its picturewith beautiful flowers, plenty of parking spaces. Only a short walk to beach, shops & pubs. Couldn't find fault with the interior either, the whole place was tastefully decorated. Our room was spotless, lovely fresh white cotton bedding & towels, comfy bed & pillows, ensuite with a good shower flow. Tea coffee facilities, TV, even a hair dryer. If you don't feel like going out of a night you can always eat in & use the bar downstairs, their food is very tasty. Recently stayed at Paignton Court for 4 nights which was in a word brilliant. We were warmly welcomed by Hayley as soon as we arrived and we were given the keys to a massive room with an enormous bed,loads of natural light, immaculately presented but most of all lovely and clean. Hayley and Paul take pride in what they do and to be honest put a lot of the more expensive hotel rooms to shame. Now to the breakfast. The latest you can have breakfast is 9am so good if you fancy a lie in. The first morning i had the Full English which was delicious and with a varied menu covers even the most discerning pallets. Sadly i wasn't very well for a few days so missed breakfast but my wife said it was lovely. The hotel has a varied bar which closes at 11pm but we didn't get to use it but if you wish to eat out or go for a drink there are many bars and restaurants within walking distance. On the whole a lovely place run by lovely people at a reasonable rate. So if you fancy going to Paignton i would definitely recommend staying at Paignton Court. We shall definitely be going back. From the minute we were greeted by Paul I knew it was going to be a great stay.The room was adequate and comfortable (small double) and a fan was available which was a good job as it was the hottest week of the year!Breakfast was offered at allotted times which you could choose and there was an excellent choice of fresh food cooked to order. Nothing was too much trouble.Evening bar snacks were also available and we ate in the first evening but already had other plans for the rest of our stay otherwise we would have eaten in again.If you are visiting Paignton or nearby, you won’t go wrong with this lovely guest house.Thank you Paul, Hayley and your staff for your excellent hospitality and I hope to stay with you again one day.

We booked 7 nights in a small double that was perfectly adequate for 2 people. There was a good selection of fruit and cereals for breakfast every morning and the cooked breakfast was delicious and of a good quality. We found every one very friendly and will definitely be recommending Paignton Court to all our friends and families

What else can we say? Hayley and Paul were superb hosts and you are made to feel so welcome the moment you step over the front door. The rooms are terrific and spotlessly clean. The breakfast is excellent and sets you up for the day. They now do snacks and meals at night which are lovely and great value for money.All in all Paignton Court is the only place to be if you want to book somewhere to stay in Paignton. This the best place we have ever stayed in and we usually stay in a 5star Hilton the room was excellent very clean excellent shower plenty of tea and coffee Hayley and Paul couldn't do enough for us breakfast first class so where the bar snacks nicely decorated inside and out lovely flowers at entrance 100% would definitely recommend well-done to Hayley and Paul and being a disabled lady this makes it more enjoyable Thanksgiving very much

Staying again at Paignton Court was a pleasure, good clean room, lovely hosts, a brill breakfast, I really like the curry for evening meal and the banter between hosts and guests in the bar.Situated an easy walk to town, the bus or Train stations are about ten minutes away with flat level walking. Deffo go again.

This was a great little place. Parking was a priority for us but we had no worries here. The room was a small double but was nice and clean with en-suite shower. The location was excellent and only a short walk to the harbour and town centre. The breakfast was amazing. Haley and Paul were extremely nice and nothing was too much trouble. We would highly recommend this place if you are looking to stay in the Torbay area. Overall we couldn’t fault Paignton Court. Thanks guys and hope to see you again soon.

Thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night stay at Paignton Court. A well maintained Guest House in a great location within a short walking distance to the harbour, seafront, shops and train/bus stations. The breakfasts were excellent with various choices. On a couple of evenings we also ordered meals from the Bar snack menu which were also very good. Our first visit to Paignton Court which we hope to repeat again in the future.

I was recommended this hotel and am I glad I came along with my best mate,the hotel is absolutely spotless, the food and the hotel staff are absolutely unbelievably friendly even on an evening time whilst in the lounge chilling out, we werejoined by the proprietors, the hotel was so lovely that on our last day we immediately rebooked and we are returning in September and hopefully again in June next year (and I can’t wait) . I travelled from Surrey, with two school friends.All three of us being, being single ladies of a certain age, wanted individual en-suite rooms.We wanted en-site parking too.None of that trundling suit cases from a nearby, cost-a-lot-car park.We were delighted!The breakfast menu was quite extensive, with more than adequate sachets of coffee, tea etc. in our rooms.Paul and Hayley were welconing and helpful and it's certainly one of the nicest 'short breaks' I've had in a long time.I would have no hesitation in re-visiting - hopefully soon!Thank you.

Our second visit, will be returning when we can. Paul makes a fantastic breakfast (as much as you can eat), Hayley keeps the B/B spotless clean. The hotel has plenty of parking spaces to leave the car as everything is in easy reach to beaches for sports etc, ( for us paddle boarding). There are plenty of eating places around, but if you don’t want to go out Hayley will cook for you, nothing istoo much trouble they are there for you when needed, a good Manand Lady team.

A lovely placeto stay, this little gem is within walking distance to the town & beach which are literally just minutes away. I have been staying here for at least 8 years now for a 2 night break. The service is excellent. Paul & Hayley are very welcoming and makes the stay worthwhile. I travel with 5/6 other male friends and they all agree with my comments. We will continue to stay for these short breaks for the foreseeable future.
